The interior cabin of the new Prius can seat up to five individuals. The cabin is roomy and made of soft-touch material with suitable quality plastic materials. The interior is neatly organized with a shifter that resembles a joystick and a digital cluster. It has a standard cargo space of 27.4 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Folding down these seats increases the storage to 50.7 cubic feet.
Performance
The new Prius' hybrid powertrain comprises a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, an electric, continuously variable automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive to produce 96 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque. Models with all-wheel drive have an independent motor mounted on the rear wheel axle. The Prius enjoys the perks of regenerative braking, allowing it to stop at very short distances. Technology/Features
Most models of the new Prius come with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment display, which supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Alexa. The top-level trims upgrade to an 11.6-inch screen without Android Auto. You will also likely get a JBL premium sound system on the top-level trims.
