2018 Toyota Camry
For the 2018 model year, the Toyota Camry arrives completely redesigned. Some of the major updates include more sophisticated styling, a longer wheelbase, and more standard features and options than before.
The 2018 Toyota Camry is available in five trim levels: L, LE, SE, XSE, and XLE.
Every Camry comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. On the XLE and XSE models, there is an available 3.5-liter V6 with 301 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque.
Drivers will find this model of the Camry more spirited than previous years. Even the four-cylinder engine offers strong acceleration, especially with its eight-speed automatic transmission. No matter which trim you choose, the Camry is easy to drive and responds quickly to steering and braking input. And, for drivers who want even more control, the available paddle shifters respond quickly and accurately to a simple touch.
The Camry comes with a new exterior design that is a bit bolder than before without being brash. Its new front-end design gives it a more aggressive stare; the standard Bi-LED headlights not only light the path ahead of you, but provide a striking, expressive design; and, with 13 available exterior color combinations, including Midnight Black Metallic roof and rear spoiler details, you can find just the right shade to fit your personality.
Standard exterior features on the base trim include 16-inch steel wheels, keyless entry, and automatic LED headlights. The LE trim and up add features like 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, revised steering, and 18-inch wheels. On some trims, the Camry even comes with a rear spoiler and side rocker panels to improve its performance and enhance its style.
Take a seat inside the Camry and you will find a comfortable, spacious cabin. Drivers will find the controls easy to use and right where they would expect them to be. The available leather-trimmed eight-way power-adjustable front seats will help you feel like you are sitting in a custom-made seat.
Once you are ready to drive, you will find the Camry comes with an excellent seating position that will keep you comfortable even on long drives. There is even enough leg- and headroom for drivers over 6 feet tall. Backseat passengers, too, will enjoy plenty of room to stretch out.
When you want to enjoy more of the world around you, the available panoramic roof lets you do just that. The front half can open to let in some fresh air while everyone enjoys an extra dose of sun, and when you need more coverage, you can retract the sunshade with the touch of a button.
The Camry also provides plenty of storage options. It has a large, wide trunk, and with the folding rear seats, owners can easily slide in longer items. In addition, there are plenty of storage options throughout the cabin for smaller items.
All Camrys are equipped with Toyota Safety Sense technology. This includes at least adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assistance, a front collision avoidance system, and automatic high beams. Additional standard safety features include antilock brakes, a rearview camera, airbags, and traction and stability control.
For even more safety, available safety features include a head-up display, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree parking camera system.
The base L trim equipped with the four-cylinder engine delivers an EPA-estimated 29 mpg city, 41 mpg highway, and 34 mpg combined.* With the V6 on the XSE trim, drivers can expect 22 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined.*
